  I got Lila and by the end of the ride I did not want to leave because I have rarely gotten a horse that was this friendly (allthough shy) and willing to work. Thus, I asked them to return for a second trip after the weekend, a few days before I left. Luckily there was still a spot left and I was immediately able to join - again a lovely ride through the hills with Lila. If she would've fit in my suitcase, I would've horsenapped her ;)

  It is really comforting that Monique explains the horses' past, behaviour and quirks before people get to pick a horse. The horses range from beginner-friendly to experienced and they are utter sweethearts!

  Got this special experience as a gift from my best friend, a ride I won't ever forget! Monique and David are so loving and kind people, they make sure everyone's having a great time in the horse valley and look after everybody and every horse during the mountain ride. First all the horses were introduced to us while they were having dinner. All of their background stories were so heartbreaking and sometimes brutal, it was remarkable to see their good conditions nowadays. Horse Valley Ibiza is a sanctuary for these animals, where they can become real horses again (so also Monique discribed). Monique and David then let us choose the horse to ride by character and our riding experience. To get a good and relaxed connection they first let us brush the horses. Experienced or not, everyone had an amazing horse back ride that evening, with the most beautiful view over the sea by sunset. We left with a beautiful and amazing experience. I enjoyed every part of the evening, our visit felt very welcoming and appreciated. While we're the ones who appreciated everything the Horse Valley Ibiza gave us! Thanks Monique and David, for doing all this great work! For the horses and for the guests! And thanks to my best friend for letting me have this experience together with her! Don't doubt to visit the valley, it will be worth it!

  It is also great to know that these horses have a future here and they clearly love running through the hills - at least my horse did not want to miss out on gallopping full speed. Plus, bridleless riding people. What more can you wish for?

  My first time on Ibiza and certainly not my last, all because of the Valley. David and Monique are a very welcoming couple who 'breathe horse' and can help you out in case of emergency. The meeting point was easy to find and they were there on time.

  This is a wonderful experience! We were in Ibiza for a conference and this experience was a welcome change from all the partying in Ibiza. Dave and Monique are amazing hosts and take great care of these horses. The tour is great in that they do a great deal in explaining equine behavior and and how they socialize. This provides a great understanding of the horse itself. And they also provide background to the horses themselves and how they got there. This allows you to pick a horse that fits your personality and one that you can feel connected to. Combine that with a horseback ride through the most beautiful parts of Ibiza and you have an amazing experience. My wife and I have travelled extensively through Europe, and the world, and have to say this is one of the top overall experiences we have ever done. Monique and David are good about making this experience worthwhile for all skill levels. My wife is a very experienced rider and enjoyed it just as much as the first timers in the group. They have horses for all skill types. If you are in Ibiza, this experience is a must!

  I have done trips before but none were like this... those views! I sadly only had the opportunity to do the short trip and not the half day because of the high temperatures but still the trek was well worth it!

  Amazing!! Well what can I say, what an absolutely amazing experience!! David & Monique explained everything about the horses and background and decided what horse was suitable for you. They are all beautiful horses I had Nero, lovely horse, on which I felt very safe having not ridden for many years. It was so lovely to saddle him up to putting him back in the valley once the ride was over. The views on the trek were absolutely amazing, it was such a brilliant experience and what made it more special was that I was on my honeymoon!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, it truly was an unforgettable evening. Thanks David & Monique xx
